SafeRide Health Makes Forbes’ List of America’s Best Startup Employers 2026

The list ranks U.S. companies founded between 2016 and 2023 based on their reputation, employee experience, and growth.

SAN ANTONIO, March 5, 2026 – This week, SafeRide Health was named to Forbes’ list of America’s Best Startup Employers 2026, alongside companies such as Anthropic, Ramp, and Substack. SafeRide ranked 307th out of 500 U.S. companies recognized for reputation, employee experience, and growth.

“We’re honored to be recognized alongside so many innovative companies,” said SafeRide Health Co-Founder and CEO Robbins Schrader. “This distinction is a testament to SafeRide’s incredible team members who work every day to help millions of Americans access life-sustaining care.”

SafeRide has also been recognized for its momentum in growth and performance. The company ranked 84th on the 2025 Deloitte Technology Fast 500™, placing in the top 20% of the 500 fastest-growing technology companies in North America, and it ranked in the top 7% of the 2025 Inc. 5000. SafeRide has received a series of Top Workplaces honors nationally and in its hometown of San Antonio.

To compile the rankings, Forbes started with a list of more than 20,000 startups, defined as independent companies with at least 50 employees founded between 2016 and 2023, and partnered with market research firm Statista to narrow the list down to 2,700 privately held companies headquartered in the U.S. From there, Statista analyzed millions of publicly available data points to evaluate each company across three areas: reputation, employee satisfaction, and growth.

SafeRide’s growth reflects increasing demand for transportation that members can count on. Revenue grew 1,100+% from 2021 to 2024, and the company expects to provide more than 12 million rides in 2026 for its Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and provider partners—up from 1 million in 2021. As SafeRide has scaled to provide transportation across all 50 states, it has maintained industry-leading 99+% ride fulfillment.

SafeRide’s non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) platform supports millions of members with dependable, compliant transportation and tailored experiences that address language, mobility and equipment needs, caregiver coordination, and appointment requirements. Performance is continuously monitored and validated through real-time metrics and operational analyses, supporting its high performance rates and low grievance rates.
