As we move into 2023, SafeRide Health is pleased to announce numerous well-deserved promotions and internal appointments across our organization. At the leadership level, Debi Lindquist, CPA has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer and Devin Wheeler as General Counsel.

“Debi is a proven healthcare executive who refactored SafeRide’s financial operations as we’ve grown nearly 10x in 5 years,” said Robbins Schrader, Chief Executive Officer at SafeRide. “But it’s her commitment to our members and team that stands out. I’m excited to partner with Debi and restore access to care for millions of Americans."

"Devin demonstrated consistent excellence leading our compliance and legal functions while partnering firmwide to advance major initiatives like HITRUST certification," added Schrader. "He brings a passion for growth and creativity to deliver client and member first solutions.  I’m excited to partner with Devin and execute on our long-term strategy.”

Both Debi and Devin have brought incredible value and wisdom to their previous roles at SafeRide and will continue to do so in their new roles. Learn more about Debi and Devin below.

Debi Lindquist, CPA - Chief Financial Officer

Debi is SafeRide's Chief Financial Officer and leads the finance function. Her team includes FP&A, accounting, claims management, and billing.

Debi brings over 25 years of CFO and Controller experience to SafeRide. She started her career with Ernst & Young and before served both public and high-growth, privately-held health companies. Most recently, Debi served as the Controller of Eleanor Health.

Debi is an accomplished athlete (NCAA All-American) in addition to an avid traveler.

Devin Wheeler - General Counsel

Devin Wheeler is a California attorney with significant experience in managed care, most recently with Molina Healthcare in their Compliance and Privacy Department. Prior to joining SafeRide, Devin also acted as the Director of Legal and Regulatory Affairs for a California Medicare Advantage plan, which entailed leading the legal and regulatory functions for the organization. Some of the experience he has cultivated throughout his career includes building out compliance & privacy departments, overseeing M&A, and assisting with post-transaction change management.

Devin holds his Bachelor's Degree from Saint Martin's University and his Juris Doctor from Western State University College of Law. Currently, he is pursuing his Master's in Business Administration from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.

"I look forward to continuing the work to get members to care. From my time working on the managed care side, I saw firsthand the barriers that transportation creates in keeping many individuals getting to care. In my new position, I hope to continue to support the efforts of SafeRide to expand their footprint across the United States to make a positive impact in our members' overall health." -Devin Wheeler
