Beginning March 1, 2025, SafeRide Health will be supporting the SCAN Health Plan Connection population with gas mileage reimbursement (GMR) services. To ensure no interruptions for passengers and drivers utilizing the gas mileage reimbursement mode of transportation, please ensure drivers complete registration using the online application portal. If a ride is administered on or after March 1 without updated driver information on file, the driver will not be reimbursed.

Claims and Information
The Gas Mileage Reimbursement (GMR) program helps members receive reimbursement for the actual miles they've driven. Please remember the following guidance for all GMR trips: 1) Submit one claim per trip that reflects the full round trip—even if a family member is accompanying you. Avoid submitting multiple separate claims for the same visit. 2) The point of origin for your GMR trip should match the passenger address listed in your SafeRide Health profile for the first leg of the trip. If this needs to be updated, please contact SafeRide Member Services (855-955-7433). 3) Only submit claims for trips you have actually taken and for which you are requesting reimbursement.
To be reimbursed, all claims need to be filled out using the Gas Mileage Reimbursement form (PDF opens in a new tab) or Forma - Registro de servicio en Español. Please complete the form and send back to SafeRide Health via email or U.S. Postal Services mail.
